Fire at Gazipur spinning mill

A devastating fire broke out at a spinning mill at Dewliabari under Gazipur sadar upazila on Friday afternoon.

Md Mirazul Islam of Kashimpur Fire Station said the fire erupted on a floor of ‘Karim Spinning Mills Ltd’ around 3:00pm.

On information, six firefighting units went there and brought the fire under control with an effort of three hours.

The reason behind the fire and the extent of losses could not be known yet.
