Fire at spinning mill in Gazipur

A fire broke out at a spinning mill in Narayankul area of Mirerbazar in Gazipur on Tuesday morning.

Senior Station Officer of Tongi Fire Station said the fire broke out at the spinning mill named Al Raji around 8.00am.

On information, three firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after a frantic effort of 45 minutes, he said.

Machineries and a number of cotton belts were gutted in the fire.
