Former KU professor crushed under train

Prof Mizanur Rahman, a former professor of Khulna University, has been crushed under a train.

The incident took place around 6.45am on Saturday when he was trying to get on a moving train at Khulna Railway Station.

Prof Mizanur Rahman (66) was a teacher of the Department of Soil, Water and Environment at the University of Khulna.

He tried to catch the running Khulna-Benapole commuter train as he was late to arrive at the station. He died on the spot.
