Former Minister Abul Kashem no more

Abul Kashem, a sector commander of Liberation War and a former youth minister, has passed away.

He breathed his last around 4.25am on Saturday at his Banani residence in the city.

He was 77 years.

BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the news.

To mourn his death, he left behind a son, two daughters and a host of relatives.

His namaz-e-janaza will be held at Palpara village in Cumilla sadar upazila after Asar prayer. Later, he will be buried at his family graveyard.
