Former president Shahabuddin returns home

Staff Correspondent: Former president of Bangladesh Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed returned home from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) on Friday, 13 days after he was admitted there for treatment.

The former president took admission to the hospital on December 30, 2017 as he was suffering from stomach ache and respiratory complications.

Prashanto Kumar Majumder, Public Relations Officer of BSMMU, confirmed the news.

He was being treated in the hospital under Professor Dr. ABM Abdullah, Dean of Medicine Department, according to Prashanto Kumar.
