Four of a family chopped dead: Axe recovered

Police have recovered an axe over incident of killing four members of a family in Madhupur of Tangail.

The axe was recovered from the spot on Friday noon. Superintendent of Police in Tangail Ranjit Kumar Roy confirmed the development.

Four members of a family were found dead at a house of Madhupur municipality area on Friday morning. They were slaughtered and hacked to death. The deceased were known as Goni Mia, 45, his wife Tajiron Begum Buchi, 37, their son Tajel, 13 and daughter Sadia, 9.
