Four-tier security for Feb 21

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mohammad Shafiqul Islam has said that four-tier security measures have been taken for smooth celebration of the International Mother Language Day on February 21.

The police commissioner said this while addressing newsmen after visiting Shaheed Minar area on Wednesday.

He said highest security barriers have been made around the Shaheed Minar and adjacent areas ahead of February 21.

Shafiqul Islam said all types of preparations have been taken from today (Wednesday) to avoid any untoward situation.
