‘Freedom fighter’s name in list of Razakar purposeful’

Mayoral candidate for Barisal city polls, Dr Manisha Chakrabarty said, “My father is a gazetted freedom fighter. However, his name was put in the list of Razakar purposefully.”

Expressing anger, Bangladesh Samajtantrik Dal (Basad) leader Dr Manisha Chakrabarty wrote a Facebook post in this regard on Monday.

While talking to risingbd Dr Manisha Chakrabarty said, “My father is freedom fighter but his name was found in the list of Razakars. The dirty politics of Barishal is involved with it.”

“A protest program will be announced. We are also going to face the issue legally. This kind of list is not acceptable,” she added.
