Freedom fighter’s wife stabbed to death

The wife of a freedom fighter was stabbed to death allegedly by miscreants at Pargurudaspur under Gurudaspur upazila in Natore on Thursday morning.

The deceased was identified as Monwara Begum, 65, wife of Hatem Ali.

According to police, miscreants swooped on the house of Monwara and stabbed her indiscriminately around 6.00am, leaving her critically injured.

Later, she was taken to local hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead.
