Gangster Vikas Dubey killed in police encounter

Gangster Vikas Dubey has been killed in a police encounter.

According to sources, Vikas Dubey had attempted to flee on Friday morning after the vehicle in which he was present, overturned.

Vikas was arrested on Thursday by Madhya Pradesh police from Mahakal temple.

Later, he was handed over to UP STF.

The UP STF brought him to Kanpur but one of the vehicles of UP police met with an accident.

Vikas Dubey is the main accused of the Kanpur shootout case where eight policemen had lost their lives.

The UP government had announced a bounty of Rs 5 lakhs on his head.
