Senior Correspondent: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir claimed that the government created pressure on Zahidur Rahman to take oath as a member of the 11th parliament.

The BNP secretary general made the opinion while addressing reporters after placing wreath at the grave of late party founder Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Friday noon.

He said that action will be taken against Zahidur Rahman for breaching party’s organizational decision.

Mirza Fakhrul said, “Breaching party’s organizational decision, Zahidur Rahman took oath. It’ll be considered as an organizational offence if anyone is sworn in breaching the decision. Zahidur Rahman has committed such an offence.”
