‘Govt has capability to face coronavirus’

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said asked all not to get panicked about the coronavirus the government has the capability to face it.

The Premier said this while addressing an inaugural ceremony on the occasion of international women day at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Sunday.

She said, “Please follow the directives of the health ministry regarding the precautionary measures to face coronavirus.”

“We are monitoring the matter round-the-clock and taking appropriate measures to address any kind of problem in this regard,” she added.

Coronavirus was first reported in China’s Wuhan and now it has spread in more than 90 countries.

On Sunday, Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) confirmed three people including a woman were found infected with deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bangladesh.
