Govt to provide maximum support to Dhaka city polls: Obaidul

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said, Dhaka North-South City Corporations will be fair. The government will provide maximum support to the polls.

Obaidul Quader came up with the opinion while addressing a program organized by political science department alumni association at TSC in Dhaka University on Wednesday noon.

He said, “Already the election schedule of the city corporation has been announced. Various political parties are participating in the polls. BNP is going to join. We welcome them all.”

“I want to assure you all that this election will be free and fair. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina want a fair and acceptable polls,” he added.
