Govt waives cargo charge on onion import

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has waived its cargo handling charge for importing onion by air.

Tanvir Ahmed, public relations officer of Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry confirmed the matter to risingbd on Wednesday night.

The waiver facilities will remain in force as long as onion is imported by air, Civil aviation and tourism secretary Md Mohibul Haque said.
