Staff Correspondent: Leaders at the grassroots think Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s son Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy deserves important post. They have urged Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League President, to take decision in this regard.

The leaders from different districts made this call while addressing the second session of AL’s 20th council at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Saturday.

The second session of the council begins after Zuhr prayers. This session is designed to present organisational written report of the districts. A pleasant cultural programme is scheduled to be held in the evening.

The first session of the second day will be started at 9:00 am. Organisational written report of the districts will be presented in presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in this session.

Shaped like a boat, the party`s electoral symbol, a 25-feet stage with a seating capacity of 120 have been made at the council venue. It looks like it is floating on water from a distance.

There has been set up a 35-feet tall LED screen as background of the stage.
