HC publish full text of gambling verdict

The full text of the High Court verdict in the illegal gambling case was published on Thursday.

A 25-page verdict was released after Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Md Mahmud Hasan Talukder singed the copies.

Earlier on February 10, High Court declared that gambling at 13 clubs in capital and other areas across the country is illegal.

The court also asked the law-enforcement agencies to instantly seize the equipment used in gambling wherever it could be found.
