Secretariat Correspondent: The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published any day from July 20 to 22.
The board authorities have already sent a letter to the Education Ministry seeking permission in this regard.
The ministry also sent it to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for her consent.
According to Dhaka Education Board Chairperson Prof Ziaul Haque, the proposal was sent to PMO on June 12.
Therefore, the results are going to be published any day from July 20 to 22 after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina approved any of these dates for publishing the results.
Usually, chairmen of ten education boards hand over the synopsis of the results to the prime minister and she makes formal announcement of the results.
Later, the details of the result are formally announced by education minister in a press conference.
A total of 13,51,505 examinees from ten educational boards took part in the examinations this year. Of the total candidates, 6,64,496 are male and 6,87,9 female.
Some 78,451 appeared in the examinations from madrasa board while 1,24,265 students under technical institutions this year.
