Housewife burnt to death in Fatullah fire

A housewife was burnt to death in a fire that broke out at her house in Muslimnagar area under Fatullah in Narayanganj on Friday evening.

The deceased was identified as Shampa Begum, 20.

Officer-in-Charge of Fatullah Model Thana Aslam Hossain confirmed the matter.

Mizanur Rahman, station officer of Fatullah BSIC Fire Service Station, said the fire originated from a tin-shed and soon engulfed near 20 houses.

Shampa died in the fire as she did not come out from his room as it was locked from outside.

Shampa and his husband were garment workers.
