Housewife found hanging in Narsingdi

Police on Sunday night recovered the body of a housewife hanging from a celling fan of her house in Madhabdi pourashava of Narsingdi.

The deceased is Kulsum Begum, 23, the wife of Idris Ali in Birampur area of Madhabdi pourashava.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Madhabdi Thana Abu Taher Dewan said police recovered the body, and no one was arrested in the incident as her husband and other family members went hiding.

In primary investigation it is seemed that the woman may have committed suicide, he added.
