How did militants get IS caps?

Special Tribunal of Dhaka on Wednesday handed down death sentence to seven militants for deadly Holey Artisan Bakery attack.

But, one of the convicts Rigan wore a prayer cap emblazoned with the emblem of Islamic State (IS). The detectives already have started investigation in this regard.

After the verdict, lawyer who moved for the state told media, investigation should be done about the cap as an accused cannot appear before the court in that way.

DMP's Deputy Commissioner (Media) Masudur Rahman said, “We are checking the issue seriously.”

Jailer of Keraniganj Central Jail Mahbubul Islam told risingbd, “There is no scope for the accused to wear cap in jail. That is how we take them to court.”
