IRI didn`t sponsor Priya Saha

Diplomatic Correspondent:  The US-based International Republican Institute (IRI) has claimed that it did not sponsor Priya Saha to visit the USA.

IRI sent a letter to the foreign ministry on Friday saying that they didn`t sponsor her.

While making their position clear, this US-based organization said Priya lied. Even Priya`s statement about minority torture in Bangladesh is completely false.

Earlier, Priya, who made strange complaint about Bangladesh to US president Donald Trump, said she had traveled to Washington at the invitation of US-based International Republican Institute (IRI). She also claimed that IRI sponsored her tour.
