Imam murdered in Gaibandha

An imam of a mosque has been murdered at Sadullapur upazila in Gaibandha district.

The deceased is Abul Kalam Azad, a resident of Uttarpara village of the upazila.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body hanging from a tree near Gobinda Debottor beel on Saturday morning.

Police suspect that the reason behind the murder may be a money-related matter.
