Import-export through Bhomra Port suspended for 6 days

The import and export activities will remain suspended for six days through Bhomra Land Port in Satkhira on the occasion of the Durga Puja festivity.

“All sorts of import-export activities will remain suspended through the land port from October 6 to October 11 next,” said Secretary of Bhomra Customs, Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association Mostifizur Rahman Nasim.

The imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of goods will resume through the land port from October 12.

However, the movement of passport-visa holders will remain normal through the Immigration Check Post (ICP) at the port during the vacation despite closure of import and export activities, he said.
