India registered their fourth Test win on the trot this season as the Virat Kohli-led side demolished Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs in the first of the two-Test series in Indore on Day 3.
With the win, India took a 1-0 lead in the 2-match series with the final match -- first Day/Night Test on Indian soil -- set to take place from November 22 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The stars of the win in the Test for India were run-machine Mayank Agarwal and the pacers. The trio of Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav took a total of 14 wickets in the match to demolish the visitors in both the innings.
After bundling out Bangladesh for 150 in the first innings, Mayank's 243-run masterclass set the platform for an innings win for India.
In the second innings, Bangladesh showed a little more fight (213 all out) but that was not enough to avoid an innings defeat.
