Indian fireworks seized in Habiganj

Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) have seized Indian fireworks worth Tk 4.5 lakh from Dhormoghar area of Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj district.

Habiganj Battalion (55 BGB) Captain Lt. Col M Jahidur Rashid PSC confirmed the matter on Wednesday noon. 

He said that on the basis of information of civil intelligence a BGB team seized 995 pieces of Indian fireworks from the area on Tuesday night. Subedar Md. Nurul Islam led the BGB team. The legal process is underway in this reagrd.
