JMB’s spiritual leader held in Narsingdi

The spiritual leader of JMB (Jamaat ul Mujahideen Bangladesh), a banned extremist outfit, was detained by a team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Saturday.

The detainee is identified as Maulana Md Atik Ullah, 36.

RAB-11 media officer Additional Police Super Alep Uddin said, RAB conducted a drive in Soto Gadaichar area of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila and detained him.

Atik Ullah basically was running his activities through Facebook, Twitter and Telegram ID, he added.
