JU shut down over coronavirus

Authorities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) have announced that the university will remain closed from March 18 to April 2 due to coronavirus outbreak.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Nurul Alam confirmed the news on Monday noon.

The students were asked to leave halls within 11:00am on March 19. Academic activities of the university will remain closed from March 22 to April 2. However, all emergency services will remain active during the period.
