Jashore reports 9 more coronavirus cases

Nine more coronavirus patients have been detected in last 24 hours in Jashore district, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 15.

The presence of coronavirus was found in the bodies of nine people after carrying out 41 sample tests at a lab of Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST) within this period.

Confirming the matter to risingbd, lab in-charge Dr Jafor Iqbal said 12 coronavirus patients have been detected after carrying out sample tests at the university lab so far.

Of them, nine tested positive for coronavirus in last 24 hours following sample tests of 41 people, he said.
