Jatrabari OC among 5 sued over rape attempt

A woman has filed a case against five people including Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jatrabari Police Station of the capital for allegedly attempting rape.

The woman filed the case with Dhaka Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal 3 judge Joyshree Samaddar’s court on Wednesday.

The court came up with the order for judicial investigation after recording plaintiff’s statement.

The other accused of the case are: Jatrabari Thana’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Osman Ali, Md Sohel, Md Miraz Ali and Jihad.

Lawyer of plaintiff advocate S M Mizanur Rahman confirmed the news.
