Juba League leader hacked to death in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: A local leader of Juba League, youth wing of ruling Awami League, was stabbed to death by assailants at Ataikula Thana palli in Sadar upazila.

The deceases was identified as Hafijur Rahman, 32, son of Abu Taher, hailed from Raghurampur village in Ataikula Thana.

Ataikula Police Station, Officer in Charge (OC) of the police station Md Moniruzzaman said police investigation is underway in this regard.

Pabna Additional police super Gautam Kumar Biswas said a group of youth attacked the victim with sharp weapon around 7:00pm Saturday, leaving him critically injured. Later, he was taken to Pabna General Hospital where he died under treatment.
