Justice Fazle Kabir’s home attacked

District Correspondent, DHAKA, Dec 12: Some unidentified miscreants hurled at least four petrol bombs at the village home of Justice ATM Fazle Kabir, the chief of International Crimes Tribunal 1, at Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila early Thursday.

According to sources, some unidentified miscreants hurled the bombs outside of the house of the justice around 1:30am of Thursday.

As on-duty police immediately rushed to the spot, the miscreants fled the scene by blasting some crude bombs at the law enforcers.

However, none was hurt in the blasts.

The windows were partially damaged in the arson attack.

Tribunal 1 led by Justice Fazle Kabir sentenced former Jamaat-e-Islami chief Ghulam Azam to 90 years and awarded death penalty to its Nayed-e-Ameer Delawar Hossain Sayedee.
