Knitwear factories declared shut till Apr 4

Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) has declared closed all knitwear factories of the country till April 4 in view of preventing spread of coronavirus.

A press release signed by BKMEA president AKM Salim Osman on Friday came up with the instruction.

It said, “The global outbreak of coronavirus affects Bangladesh. Under the circumstances, our main objective is to save our country and its people.”
