Lalmoni Express narrowly escapes casualty

Dhaka-bound inter-city train Lalmoni Express has narrowly escaped accident as hook of a bogy broke on Sunday.

The incident took place near Bheramara bridge in Gaibandha around 11:30am.

Station Master Birendra said the train has 16 bogies. Of which, 12 bogies got separated after a hook broke down.

The train reached Gaibandha leaving the 12 separated bogies. Later, the driver returned and took the 12 bogies to Gaibandha station.
