MP Liton murder case: Court to declare verdict on Thursday

The verdict in former Awami League MP (Gaibandha-1) Manjurul Islam Liton's murder case will be declared on Thursday.

On November 18, the court fixed November 28 to deliver its verdict in the murder case.

Earlier on December 31, 2016, the then Gaibandha 1 MP Liton was shot by unidentified assailants in his home at Sundarganj upazila. Later, he succumbed to his injuries at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Liton's elder sister Fahmida Kakuli Bulbul filed the murder case with Sundarganj police station against five to six unnamed people.
