Make Toyota cars in Bangladesh: Minister urges Japan

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun urged Japan envoy to establish factory of Toyota cars in Bangladesh.

The minister made the call while addressing a meeting with Japanese ambassador to Dhaka Naoki Ito at industries ministry in Dhaka on Thursday.

He said, there is popularity of Toyota brand cars in Bangladesh. Japanese Toyota Company can invest in Bangladesh evaluating huge market and popularity here.

The countries will be benefited following the projects, the minister added.

Meanwhile, the top officials of industries ministry and Japan embassy attended the function.
