Malala in self-quarantine

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai experimented with her hairstyle while in self-quarantine and shared a picture of her new look on Instagram. She cut her own fringe as she posed for a selfie and subsequently posted it on Instagram.

In the caption of her post, Malala detailed her conversation with hair and skincare expert Jonathan Van Ness and said that she was advised against trying new looks in self-quarantine. However, Malala did just as she pleased and ended up cutting her fringe.

"Jonathan Van Ness: 'Don't try new lewks during quarantine.' Me: Cuts my own fringe. @jvn - how did I do?" Malala said in the caption of her post.

And guess what, Jonathan Van Ness loved Malala's new haircut. See his comment on her post:

Malala's post has garnered thousands of likes while her fans and followers said that she did a great job with her hair.
"You did great," a comment read.

Another user added, "Cutie!"

Last week, Malala had shared a post on Instagram in which she said that she missed "miss being outside and with my friends."

Malala Yousafzai is a student at the University of Oxford. She is the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for her advocacy of education.
