Man dies with coronavirus-like symptoms in Hili

A man aged nearly 55 has died with coronavirus-like symptoms at Hili in Dinajpur.

He was found dead at Gorostan area on Hili-Joypurhat road on Friday morning.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Belal Hossain of Hakimpur Police Station confirmed the news to risingbd.

He said, “Being informed, we rushed to the spot to recover the body. We came to know that he was addicted to drug. He had been suffering from shortness of breath for past several days.”

He further said, “Sample of the dead body would be collected test whether he was infected with coronavirus. Later, the body would be handed over to Anjuman-e-Mufidul Islam.”
