Man held with gold worth TK3cr at Dhaka Airport

Dhaka Customs House detained a man with six kilogram of gold jewellery worth around Tk six crore on Thursday.

The detainee is identified as Md Murshed Hossain.

Customs House deputy commissioner Md Sazzad Hossain confirmed the matter.

Sources said, acting on secret information, the law enforcers scanned shopping bag of him and found the gold ornaments. The detainee was scheduled to board the QR638 flight of Qatar Airways.
