Man infected with fever in Dhaka dies in Noakhali

Noakhali Correspondent: Infected with fever in Dhaka, a man died while undergoing treatment at 250-bed Noakhali general hospital on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Amir Hossain and son of late Ataur Ali of Ganesh Shaymapur village in Sadar upazila of Laxmipur.

Hospital sources said Amir, who was working at a private organisation in Dhaka, was returning home from the capital on Saturday with fever.

As his condition deteriorated on the way, he was taken to the general hospital around 1:00am on Sunday.

He died around 6:30 am while undergoing treatment at the hospital, said resident medical officer (RMO) of the hospital Syed Mohiuddin Abdul Azim.
