Man killed as bus plunges into ditch

An unknown man was killed as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch near Raninagar petrol pumb at Ullapara upazila in Sirajganj on Wednesday morning.

Three more people also sustained injuries in the accident.

Aktaruzzaman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hatikumrul Highway Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said a Bogura-bound Pabna Paribahan bus plunged into a roadside ditch after its driver lost control over the steering, leaving a man killed on the spot and three others injured.

The deceased could be identified immediately, he added.
