Mashrafe stands by Shakib

The International Cricket Council (ICC) banned Shakib Al Hasan from all cricket for two years, with one year of that suspended.

On miserable day, Bangladesh One-Day skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza stood by the star al-rounder.

After the sanction imposed on Shakib by ICC, Mashrafe on his Facebook page wrote, “I certainly will pass some sleepless nights with the shocking news of my 13-year-long teammate. However, (I) will sleep in peace after a few days, thinking that we play World Cup-2023 under his leadership. Because, the name is Shakib Al Hasan…!!!”
