Md Jahangir Alam appointed new envoy to Uzbekistan

The government has appointed foreign ministry’s law affairs additional secretary Md Jahangir Alam as the new ambassador of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan.
Foreign Ministry issue a press release in this regard on Thursday (July 16).
Md Jahangir Alam belongs to the 1986 batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) admin cadre. He served as joint secretary of Asia Wing of Financial Division.
He obtained his honours and master’s degree from the University of Dhaka.
