Mercantile Bank VC dies of coronavirus

Mohammad Selim, Vice Chairman (VC) of Mercantile Bank Limited, has died of coronavirus.
He breathed his last around 2:00pm on Friday while undergoing treatment at the capital’s Anwar Khan Modern Hospital.
Abdul Hamid Sohag, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Mercantile Bank, has confirmed the news.
Mohammad Selim was also the Chairman of Synthia Securities Ltd and director of Global Insurance and Metropolitan Education promoters Ltd.
