Mild earthquake jolts Chattogram

A moderate earthquake jolted Chattogram and its adjacent areas on Sunday (June 21).

The tremor measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale was felt at 4:46pm. However, no casualty was reported.

Confirming the matter, Department of Meteorology said, the epicentre of the earthquake was 221 km north-east of the Ijele in Mizoram state of India.
