Mild tremor felt in Chattogram, Bandarban

A mild earthquake was felt in Chattogram and different places of the district on Thursday (April 16) afternoon.

No casualties were reported in the district.

According to the US Geological Survey, the tremor measured 5.9 on the Richter scale and occurred at 5:46 pm on Thursday.

The tremor was also felt in Bandarban but no casualties were reported in the district.

Being panicked, people in the districts left their homes and took shelter under open sky.
