Minister Mozammel returns home after recovery from Covid-19

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque has returned home after making recovery from the novel coronavirus or Covid-19 infection.

Confirming the matter on Monday (June 22), personal assistant of the minister Farooq Hossain said his second Covid-19 test came out negative yesterday.

Minister Mozammel Haque has been brought home today as the hospital authority released him, Farooq Hossain said.

His wife Laila Arjumand Banu is still undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), he added.

Minister AKM Mozammel Haque and his wife Laila Arjumand Banu were undergoing treatment at their residence as per the doctor's advice after testing coronavirus positive on June 12.

Later on June 14, they were admitted to the capital's CMH for better treatment.
