Minni denied bail again

Barguna Correspondent: A Barguna court again rejected the bail petition of Aysha Siddika Minni, widow of Rifat Sharif who was hacked to death in broad daylight in Barguna town on June 26, in the case of killing her husband.

Judge Md Asaduzzaman of Barguna District and Sessions Judge Court passed the order on Tuesday afternoon.

On July 23, lawyer Mahbubul Bari Aslam filed a bail petition before the court of Barguna District and Sessions Judge. Later, the court accepted the petition and fixed today for hearing.

A total of 20 lawyers from Ain o Salish Kendro (ASK), Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) moved for Minni.
