Missing madrasa student found

Staff Correspondent: Police said madrasa student Niamatullah who disappeared on November 30 from Barisal`s Agailjhara upazila has been found in Dhaka’s Gendaria area.

Genradia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman said, “A person helped Niamatullah to get work at a Gendaria hotel. At this time his mobile phone was switched off. He was traced soon after he switched on his phone this morning. After this, he was brought to Thana. He will be handed over to his family.”

In reply to a query, the OC said he fled from home out of anger as he failed to get money from his father. Then he started working at the hotel.

It is not clear yet that he had any link to any outfit, the OC added.
