Mother, son strangled to death

A woman and her son have been strangled to death by unidentified miscreants at Sonaikandi village of Rifayetpur union under Daulatpur upazila in Kushtia.
Being informed by locals, Daulatpur Thana Police recovered the bodies around 10.30am on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Sanoara Khatun, 49, daughter of Abdul Khalek, and her son Raj, 9.
Confirming the news, S M Arifur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Daulatpur Police Station, said the matter is being investigated.
