Mother, two daughters crushed under truck

A woman and her two daughters have been crushed under a rashly driven truck in Naogaon.

The incident took place around 7.30am on Monday at Doctor More under Naogaon sadar upazila.

The deceased were identified as Adori Begum, wife of Shahid Hossain at Dhupaipur village under Naogaon sadar upazila, and two her daughters-Sampa and Shimu.

Adori Begum’s father-in-law Abdul Aziz has also been seriously injured in the accident.

According to locals, a speedy truck hit them when they were crossing the road, leaving two dead on the spot. Another died at a hospital.

After the accident, angry local people halted vehicular movement on Naogaon-Rajshahi regional highway.
